Milito replaces Puyol as Barça concern

<-- Carles Puyol and Gabriel Milito are both nursing minor injuries

Gabriel Milito may be unavailable for FC Barcelona's UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg at FC Schalke 04 on Tuesday because of a groin problem, but captain Carles Puyol expects to get a clean bill of health.

Groin problem
Milito has been ruled out Saturday's Primera División game against Real Betis Balompié after missing Argentina's friendly victory in Egypt on Wednesday. Barcelona have now started a rehabilitation programme which they hope will see the 28-year-old Milito feature in Germany. Fellow central defender Puyol could even be back for tomorrow despite being injured during Spain's 1-0 friendly defeat of Italy in midweek. The 29-year-old was taken off after 17 minutes amid fears he had damaged ligaments in his right ankle.
